Production transparency @K&S Anlagenbau GmbH

Transparency and the associated process adjustments are intended to increase the effectiveness of mechanical processing. Above all, however, the aim is to provide management with a transparent overview of machine utilization and energy cost distribution. K&S Anlagenbau GmbH has commissioned RSConnect to collect and analyze data relating to energy data and machine status. The data is visualized in a streamlined dashboard. The transfer of the data to a higher-level system (e.g. ERP/MES systems) has already been prepared.

We successfully connected a total of fourteen systems and visualized them in our dashboard. Together with the energy consumption of the systems, we also read out the energy and active power fed in by the photovoltaic system from the inverter center and displayed it live.

This means that it is now possible to read out the total energy consumption and that of the individual consumers, as well as the various machine statuses, without having to intervene in the machine controls. With the help of a floor plan of the production hall, a complete overview is possible.

This data is also available in an automated export - analyses can therefore also be run outside of the RSConnect controller. As an independent, manufacturer-independent service provider, open data management is very important to us. If you already have an analysis tool or an ERP system that you would like to import into, we can transfer the data to you via an interface of your choice. We will professionally install the hardware in your control cabinet. We explicitly do not interfere with the control system. All signals that are required for evaluation can be tapped decoupled. This does not affect the system's warranty.
